Arrive Varanasi, evening Ganga Aarti
Arrival at Varanasi airport or Cantt station, where our driver meets you and transfers you to your hotel. Once you have settled in, we take you to Dashashwamedh Ghat for the evening Ganga Aarti - rows of brass lamps swung to conch and bell, the river carrying a thousand floating diyas. It begins after sunset, usually around 6:45 to 7 pm (a little earlier in winter), and we reach 45 minutes ahead so you have a seat rather than a spot at the back. Overnight in Varanasi.

Kashi Vishwanath, sunrise boat ride, Sarnath
Before dawn, a sunrise boat ride on the Ganga past the waking ghats - Assi, Manikarnika and Scindia. After breakfast, guided darshan at the Kashi Vishwanath Jyotirlinga through the new Vishwanath Dham Corridor, with queue assistance, then the old-city lanes, Vishwanath Gali and its famous kachori-sabzi. If time allows, Sarnath, where the Buddha gave his first sermon, with the Dhamek Stupa and the Ashoka Lion Capital museum. Overnight in Varanasi.

Varanasi to Ayodhya, Ram Mandir, depart
An early start for the drive to Ayodhya, roughly 200 to 230 km and about 5 to 7 hours via Sultanpur and Jaunpur. We plan this as a comfortable travel morning, with the car yours for the day and a proper stop built in, not a rushed dash. Darshan at the Ram Janmabhoomi Ram Mandir, then Hanuman Garhi (a 76-step climb, manageable for most but worth knowing), Kanak Bhawan, and the evening aarti at Ram ki Paidi on the Saryu. Onward drop to Ayodhya Dham station or Lucknow airport for your return, or continue to Prayagraj on the 4-day plan.

Best time to visit and festivals
October to March is the comfortable window, with mild days for the ghats and temple walking. The monsoon from July to September is atmospheric but wet, and peak summer is hot. Some dates are extraordinary but crowded, and need early booking:
